How to Apply For a Puppy

Below is a step-by-step overview of how to apply for a Cozycreekdoodle puppy.

Step 1: Complete the Puppy Application Form

This form can be found at the bottom of this page. 

This form ensures you understand the commitment you are making, including a dog's lifespan and deposit requirements. It also helps us understand your household environment so that we can best match you with a puppy.

Step 2: Video Call or In-Person Visit (Optional, by reservation) 

Meet the breeder! This is an informal video call or in-person visit so that we may get to know each other. We can chat about how our puppies are raised, answer any questions you may have, and ensure you and our puppies are the right fit. 

Step 3: Reserve your spot 

Once your application has been accepted, it's time to reserve a spot! Paying your non-refundable deposit of $500 secures your spot on the list to pick a puppy from your selected litter (current or planned litter). 

The first person to pay their deposit gets first pick, the second person gets second pick, and so on. 

We will send you a receipt when we receive your deposit.

Step  4: Stay connected as the puppies grow

For the health and safety of our puppies, puppy selection will only occur once the puppies are 5 to 6 weeks old. Until then, we invite you to follow along their growth on our Instagram or Facebook page. 

Step 5: Litter confirmation

If you placed a deposit for a future litter, we will contact you when the litter is born. You will have the option to either secure your spot for a puppy from that litter or wait for another litter in the future (perhaps the timing isn't right, or your preferred coat/gender was not available).

Step 6: Puppy selection (5-6 weeks old)

The fun day! You will be invited—in order of deposit received—to come interact with the puppies and choose which puppy you'd like to adopt. This can be done in-person or over video call. Each family will have 45 minutes to interact with the puppies.

Step 7: Puppy pickup (8 weeks old)

Before your puppy comes home with you, you will sign the purchase agreement and pay the remaining balance of the purchase.

We will also send you home with a go-home bag filled with a blanket with Mom's scent, toys, food, and other goodies.
