Australian Labradoodles
Australian Labradoodles are a purposeful mix of three breeds - Lab, Poodle and Cocker Spaniel. They may have a pedigree of Australian Labradoodle bred to another Australian Labradoodle, or they may be Australian Labradoodle bred to a Cocker Spaniel, Poodle, Cockapoo, or Labradoodle as an infusion of parent breed characteristics and to maintain desired standards in coat and form.
Australian Labradoodles are, as a general rule, more predictable in size and coat than the early generations. They are almost always non-shedding.
*Australian Labradoodles do not have Australian Shepherd ancestry.
Multi-generational Labradoodles are any Labradoodle bred past three generations. An Australian Labradoodle is descended from lines originating in Australia, or from the combination of the three main parent breeds: Labrador, Poodle, and Cocker Spaniel.
Multigen Australian Labradoodles have Australian Labradoodles or Multigen Australian Labradoodles as both parents.
Our Australian Labradoodles are allergy-friendly with low shedding or no shedding at all.
Cockapoos
Cockapoos are one of the popular designer breeds, a mix of a Poodle and a Cocker Spaniel. They have the longest history of mixed breeds, dating back to the early 1950s.
Cockapoos have always been one of our favourite breeds, and we have owned Cockapoos for more than 20 years. They are affectionate, cuddly and highly social. The colours are varied, and the sizes are small to standard, but we are focusing on mini-sized (15-25), as they are not too big or small, and an easy-to-handle size for all ages.
As they are mixed Poodle and Cocker Spaniel breeds, and part of Australian Labradoodles, we sometimes use them to infuse our ALD line.
Australian Cockapoos
Our Australian Cockapoos are mixed: one of their parents (or grandparents) is an ALD, and the other is a Cockapoo or a Poodle.
