We are looking for a guardian family for Ellie.
Unfortunately, due to Ellie's guardian family having an unexpected and serious health condition (NOT related to Ellie) and unable to care for her, Ellie has come back to us and we are looking for a new guardian home for her.
Ellie is a very gentle and sweet 1 year old girl. 36lbs. Medium size Australian Labradoodle.
She has basic training, with good recall and walking. She is very good with people of all ages and dogs.
The previous guardian family was working from home, so we are looking for a similar living situation, like a family that works from home, a retired couple, or an environment where she would rarely be alone.
She is in great health condition and has passed breeding health tests: OFA hip/elbow, PennHip, basic cardiac and eyes. All shots are up to date.
She will be ready to be a mom in Summer/Fall 2026.
We are looking for a guardian family for Oh Henry! boy
Oh Henry! is one of our current Kona x Max puppies.
Go-Home day on the 16th March 2026.
Expected adult weight is 20lbs
Cozycreekdoodles believes that every dog deserves to have a loving, forever home.
Our dogs are part of our family and live in our home rather than in kennels so that they get as much care and attention as possible.
To ensure this for all dogs in our breeding program, we offer a Guardian Home Program. A Guardian Home is a permanent forever home for one of our breeding dogs.
Becoming a Guardian Home gives you the opportunity to have one of our puppies as a family pet
Female Dog: while she remains in our program for 3-4 litters or the age of 5.
Male Dog: Deliver dog to Breeder or meet Breeder upon request for breeding purposes, testing, etc. He will be retired at a maximum age of 5.
Once retired from the program, she/he will be fixed at our expense and will become your forever family pet.
As a Guardian Home, you will be required to pay for the everyday expenses of owning a dog including veterinary costs, food, training, grooming, etc.
We will pay for all breeding-related costs (DNA tests and breeding-related health exams, mating/insemination, whelping, puppy care and rehoming, food and vet costs for the dog and puppies while in our care, etc.)
Becoming a Guardian Home is not for everyone. You MUST be willing and able to follow these requirements:
Live within 1 hour from us (we are located in Moose Creek, ON)
Family environment and must have own house, and prefer to have a fenced yard.
Dog will not be alone more than 5 hours daily (we do not want the dog left alone or caged for long periods of time)
Non-smoking environment
Dog lover and have previous experience with dogs (preferably doodles with an understanding of their care and grooming needs)
etc...
There is no cost to becoming a Guardian, but a $400 deposit is required, which will be refunded to you when the dog retires from the breeding program.
If you are interested in becoming a guardian home, please email us to describe your lifestyle and home environment.
